I saw Emmy when she appeared on Make it at Market. I since saw her at a craft fair and found out she was very local to us. Emmy's work is totally intriguing whether it's her combination of knitted wire and glass or the prettiness of her pod shapes. All are beautifully finished and the colours are glorious.

Artist Bio: Emmy Palmer
Emmy graduated in Plymouth with a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Applied Arts in 2007 specialising in glass. It was during her degree that she started to combine knitting with glass in different ways. She was really taken by combining knitted metals with blown glass and has been refining the technique ever since.
Having had almost a decade out of glass made her realise how passionate is about making glass and how much joy it brings her. During this time her knitting knowledge and skills have really expanded leading the way to lots of new exciting ideas! She showed these on the BBC series Make it at Market where creatives attempt to turn their craft into a business. She had an overwhelming response and is now successfully making full time
