Gerry Plumb was born and raised in London, and studied at Shrewsbury School of Art in the sixties.
He began his career as a press artist before returning to London to work as
an illustrator in advertising and publishing.
He moved to Cornwall where he lives with his wife Ella, a ceramicist, in a
17th century water mill. The harbours & natural textures in Cornwall
combined with unusual proportions of buildings, provide a constant source of
inspiration. His own home echoes the proportions found in many of his
paintings. His work is much in demand & exhibited through a few selected
South West galleries.
