Elvis the Kat was born in the West Country an indeterminate number of years ago. Overcoming the difficulty of trying to be creative without opposable thumbs, Elvis made the first collection of work exclusively for Baxters “Smile” Exhibition in May 2013. After a sell out show, Elvis has continued to transform retro furniture with vintage comics, maps and books.

The Body of Work show sees the introduction of a wider range of papers used and the covering of vintage mannequins.

Elvis is a shy and retiring character and although living in Dartmouth is somewhat of an enigma.
